Juicy burger

A juicy burger is a rich, flavorful beef patty cooked so it stays moist and tender, often served on a soft bun with your favorite toppings and sauces. It’s all about keeping the inside juicy while getting a nice sear outside.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 mix recommended for juiciness)
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Burger buns
  • Optional toppings: cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles
  • Optional condiments: ketchup, mustard, mayo, special sauces

Instructions

  1. Shape the patties
    • Divide beef into 4 portions, gently form into patties.
    • Make a small indentation in the center to prevent puffing.
    • Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the burgers
    • Grill, pan-fry, or broil over medium-high heat.
    • Cook 3–4 minutes per side for medium, adjust for desired doneness.
    • Optional: add cheese in the last minute for a melted topping.
  3. Assemble
    • Toast buns if desired.
    • Place the patty on the bun, add toppings and sauces, and serve immediately.

Tips

  • Don’t overwork the meat; it keeps the burger tender.
  • Let burgers rest 2–3 minutes after cooking so juices redistribute.
  • Mix in a bit of Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, or onion powder for extra flavor.
