  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped (optional)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1 cup sliced smoked sausage or kielbasa
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

🍳 Instructions

2️⃣ Layer Ingredients

  • Add frozen pierogi to the slow cooker.
  • Pour in chicken broth.
  • Add onion, garlic powder, and pepper.
  • Dot with butter.

3️⃣ Cook

  • Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for about 2 hours until pierogi are tender.
