Breakfast sandwich

Posted on March 10, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a quick and tasty way to make a breakfast sandwich that’s easy to customize:

Ingredients (for 1 sandwich):

  • 1 English muffin, bagel, or bread slice
  • 1 egg
  • 1–2 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, or your choice)
  • 1–2 slices of cooked bacon, ham, or sausage patty
  • Butter or cooking spray
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: avocado, tomato, spinach, hot sauce

Instructions:

  1. Toast the bread
    • Lightly toast your English muffin, bagel, or bread until golden.
  2. Cook the egg
    • Heat a small skillet with butter or spray.
    • Crack the egg into the skillet. You can fry, scramble, or make it “over-easy.”
    • Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add cheese & meat
    • Place the cheese on the egg in the last 30 seconds of cooking to melt.
    • Layer the cooked bacon, ham, or sausage on the bottom half of the toast.
  4. Assemble
    • Place the egg and cheese on top of the meat.
    • Add optional toppings like avocado, tomato, or spinach.
    • Top with the other half of the toast.
  5. Serve
    • Cut in half if desired, and enjoy warm!

💡 Tip: You can make a make-ahead version by assembling the sandwiches without cooking the egg, then wrap and freeze. Microwave for 1–2 minutes when ready to eat.

If you want, I can also give a fast 5-minute breakfast sandwich recipe with just 3 ingredients.

Do you want me to do that?
