Mashed Potatoes 🥔 (Creamy & Easy)
Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes (peeled and cut into chunks)
- 2–3 tbsp butter
- ½ cup milk (warm)
- Salt to taste
- ÂĽ tsp black pepper (optional)
- Optional: 1–2 tbsp cream or garlic for extra flavor
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes
- Put the potato chunks in a pot and cover with water.
- Add a little salt and boil for 15–20 minutes until very soft.
- Drain
- Drain the water completely.
- Mash
- Mash the potatoes using a potato masher or fork until smooth.
- Add butter and milk
- Add butter and slowly mix in warm milk while mashing.
- Season
- Add salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve
- Mix well until creamy and smooth. Serve warm.

- Garlic mashed potatoes: Mix in sautéed garlic.
- Cheesy mashed potatoes: Add ½ cup shredded cheese.
