  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 tbsp butter for extra richness

Instructions

  1. Prepare Meat:
    Pat the chops dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, minced garlic, and herbs. Let it sit at room temperature for 15–20 minutes for better cooking.
  2. Heat Pan:
    Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook Chops:

    • For medium, aim for 145°F (63°C) internal temperature.
  4. Optional Butter Finish:
    Reduce heat to low, add butter, and spoon melted butter over the chops for extra flavor.
  5. Rest & Serve:
    Let the chops rest for 5 minutes before serving to keep them juicy.
