Everything Bagel Bits 🥯✨

Everything bagel bits are crunchy, flavorful crumbs made from bagels and seasoned with the classic “everything” seasoning—perfect as a topping for salads, avocado toast, soups, or pasta.

Ingredients

  • 2–3 plain or sesame bagels (stale or toasted)
  • 1–2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • ½ teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1–2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cut the bagels into small cubes or tear into bite-size pieces.
  3. Toss the pieces with olive oil or melted butter until lightly coated.
  4. Mix seasoning: Combine sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic, onion, and salt. Sprinkle over the bagel pieces and toss to coat.
  5. Bake: Spread the pieces on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake 10–15 minutes, stirring halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Cool and store: Let them cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Serving Ideas

  • Sprinkle over salads 🥗
  • Top avocado toast 🥑
  • Add to soups 🍲
  • Mix into mac & cheese or pasta 🍝

âś… Tip: You can also make mini bagel crumbs by processing baked bagels in a food processor for a finer texture.

If you want, I can also give you a quick stovetop version for crunchy everything bagel bits without baking.
