Cheese bread

Here’s a simple and delicious Cheese Bread 🧀🍞 recipe—soft, cheesy, and perfect as a snack or side.


Ingredients (1 loaf)

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup melted butter or oil
  • 1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2. Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and garlic powder.

3. Mix Wet Ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, and melted butter.

4. Combine

  • Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the shredded cheese.

5. Bake

  • Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

6. Cool & Serve

  • Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.

  • Sprinkle extra cheese on top before baking for a crispy crust.
