Here’s a simple Baked Apple Fritters recipe—no deep frying, but still soft, sweet, and lightly crisp on the edges.


🍎 Baked Apple Fritters

🧂 Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples (peeled, diced small)
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup sugar (white or brown)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla

🔥 Instructions

1. Prepare apples

Dice apples into small chunks. You can toss them with a little cinnamon if you like extra flavor.


2. Make batter

In a bowl:

  • Mix flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar
    In another bowl:
  • Whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla
    Combine wet + dry ingredients
    Fold in chopped apples

3. Bake

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper
  • Spoon batter into small fritter mounds (don’t flatten too much)
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes, until golden and cooked through

4. Add glaze (optional)

Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth
Drizzle over warm fritters


🍽️ Tips

  • Small apple pieces = better texture
  • Don’t overmix batter (keeps fritters soft)
  • Best eaten warm for that bakery-style feel
