🥢 Easy Crispy Chicken Egg Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked chicken (shredded or minced)
  • 1 cup cabbage (finely shredded)
  • 1 small carrot (julienned or grated)
  • 2–3 green onions (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp chili sauce (optional)
  • 10–12 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 egg (for sealing)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

1. Prepare filling

  • Heat a pan with a little oil.
  • Sauté garlic for a few seconds.
  • Add chicken, cabbage, carrot, and green onions.
  • Stir-fry for 3–5 minutes until slightly soft.
  • Add soy sauce, salt, pepper, and chili sauce.
  • Mix well and let it cool completely.

2. Roll the egg rolls

  • Place a wrapper like a diamond shape.
  • Add 1–2 tablespoons of filling near the bottom.
  • Fold bottom up, then sides, and roll tightly.
  • Seal the edge with beaten egg.

3. Fry until crispy

  • Heat oil on medium flame.
  • Fry rolls until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.

🍽️ Serve with

  • Sweet chili sauce
  • Garlic mayo
  • Ketchup or soy dipping sauce

Tips

  • Don’t overfill or they may burst.
  • Make sure filling is dry (not watery) for crispiness.
  • You can also air-fry or bake for a healthier version.
