If you could only pick one cut of steak, which one are you choosing?

If I could only pick one cut, I’d go with a ribeye.

It’s the most consistently satisfying because of:

  • Rich marbling (fat = flavor + juiciness)
  • Tender texture
  • Strong beef flavor even with simple seasoning

Ribeye steak

  • Very forgiving to cook (hard to dry out)
  • Works great grilled, pan-seared, or cast iron
  • Balanced between tenderness and deep beef taste

Filet mignon (most tender)

  • Extremely soft
  • Mild flavor
  • Less juicy than ribeye

New York strip

  • Firmer bite
  • Good beef flavor
  • Less fatty than ribeye

T-bone / Porterhouse

  • Combines strip + tenderloin
  • Great variety on one plate

🧠 Bottom line

  • Ribeye = best all-around flavor + juiciness
  • Other cuts win in specific areas (tenderness or leanness)
