🍗 Garlic Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of garlic-cheesy flavor 🤤

Ingredients:

  • 2 large chicken breasts (or 4 small fillets)
  • 2–3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Panko works best for extra crunch)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 2–3 tbsp oil or melted butter

Instructions:

  1. Prep chicken
    Pound chicken breasts slightly so they cook evenly.
  2. Make coating mix
    In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Egg wash
    Beat egg with milk in a separate bowl.
  4. Coat chicken
    Dip chicken in egg mixture, then press into the Parmesan breadcrumb mix until fully coated.
  5. Cook (choose one method):

    🔥 Pan-fry:
    Heat oil/butter in a pan and cook 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

    🔥 Oven:
    Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.

  6. Finish
    Optional: sprinkle extra Parmesan on top while hot.

🍽️ Serving ideas:

  • Mashed potatoes or fries
  • Creamy pasta
  • Fresh salad or garlic bread
