  1. Marinate the chicken
    Soak chicken in buttermilk with a little salt for at least 30 minutes (longer = juicier).
  2. Coat for crispiness
    Mix flour, cornstarch, and spices.
    Take chicken from buttermilk and coat well in the flour mix. Press it in for that craggy crunch.
  3. Fry until golden
    Heat oil and fry on medium heat until deep golden and crispy.
    Remove and drain.
  4. Make the honey butter
    Melt butter in a pan, add garlic (optional), then stir in honey and a pinch of salt.
  5. Toss or drizzle
    Either:

    • Toss chicken in the sauce for full coating
