📝 Ingredients:

  • 1 kg (2 lbs) ground beef
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cans (400 g each) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (400 g) kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 can (400 g) black beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth or water
  • 1 bell pepper (chopped)
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions

🍳 Instructions:

  1. Brown the beef
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer to slow cooker
    • Add browned beef, tomatoes, beans, bell pepper, spices, and beef broth. Stir well.
  3. Cook low and slow
    • Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
