Teriyaki chicken & broccoli.

Here’s a simple, tasty way to make Teriyaki Chicken & Broccoli at home:


🥢 Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or olive)

For the teriyaki sauce:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)

🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cook the chicken: Heat oil in a pan, add chicken, and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook the broccoli: In the same pan, stir-fry broccoli for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp. Add a splash of water to steam if needed.
  3. Make the sauce: Add soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to the pan. Bring to a simmer. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
  4. Combine: Return chicken to the pan and toss everything together until well coated.
  5. Serve: Over rice or noodles. Optional: sprinkle sesame seeds or green onions on top.

🔥 Tip: Marinate the chicken for 20–30 minutes before cooking to make it extra flavorful.
