Ingredients (for 2 lobster tails)

  • 2 lobster tails (8–10 oz each)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Prep the lobster tails
    • Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top shell of each tail, stopping just before the tail fin.
    • Gently pull the lobster meat up so it rests on top of the shell. This helps it cook evenly and look beautiful.
  2. Make garlic herb butter
    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  4. Cook the lobster tails

    • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
    • Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, depending on size, until meat is opaque and slightly firm.
      Grill method (optional):
    • Preheat grill to medium-high. Place tails meat-side up, baste with butter, and grill for 5–6 minutes, then turn and cook another 3–4 minutes.
  5. Serve
    • Drizzle remaining garlic herb butter over the lobster meat and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
